Photos Around Victoria

The first two are the views from my hotel room. The the next one is fisherman’s wharf. The next three are from the seabreaker wall. The lit up building is the Province Capitol. The other building is the Empress Hotel, a former castle.

  1. Your photos brought tears to my eyes as Grandpa and I were there when Grandpa was
still able to drive. Sure brought back memories as loved that trip.
Enjoy the sights, EAT and travel safe.
    Love you

  2. Your pictures are absolutely amazing! Especially the ones with the lights. Wow!

OK, so one of your last comments was "I don't know that I'll come back though". . . . wink. What? You don't know that you'll come back to the Vancouver area or, you don't know that you'll come back home? Didn't Jonathon ask you that question before you left? Are 'ya sure you're not heading to Canada and not planning on returning? You laughed and told him no way would you stay there. OK, what's the straight scoop here? The Canadian Mounted Police will be after you and will make you leave. Either that or I will. Take your pick 🙂

Talked to Holly tonight. Here's what she asked me to write for her . . .

    Hey Pops,

Got to go on a car ride tonight and better yet . . . I got to go to a ball game and see Uncle Jonathon play. What a loser! Arf arf! It's been awhile since I've been to a game. And, Murphy dog got to come, too. We had a ball. It felt like the real dog days of summer. Know what I mean? Arf arf. Hot, humid, mosquitoes. Yuck!

I sure am tired tonight. Can't wait to get home to my bed. Oh, wait a minute. I don't have a bed. I forgot. I kind a chewed it all up. Guess it's time for a new one. Can I get a prettier color this time? Huh? Please?

Hurry home Pops. Sill missin' ya. – Love, Holly Girl
